Excellent service and meal. Very friendly staff. Very well patronized so obviously a popular restaurant. I am from Hawke's Bay and was at the restaurant with family who live in Mosgiel. I will definitely be returning to this establishment when next in town.

Another amazing meal at Diggers tonight! Got the ribeye steak, (waitress even remembered from our last visit how I like my steak cooked! How amazing is that!) hubby got the lemon sole and kids got a kids combo, all meals were very reasonably priced and decent size. I asked for my steak cooked blue and it was perfect! Definitely recommend Diggers, the service was impeccable too! 5 star!

I have been several times recently twice for meals which were lovely. Once with a group for morning tea a week ago which I organized. There were 16 of us. I had arranged fresh scones, raspberry jam and cream. We are treated so well and have regularly had 26 people come.

Diggers Tavern which is a part of the Mosgiel RSA was fantastic. We had delicious meals and awesome service. The wait staff are friendly and very accommodating. Can not recommend this enough.
